Dear guests,
On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome you to our mill. We are honoured that you have chosen to stay with us and look forward to providing you with a memorable experience. Please, let us present to you the basic house rules of this accommodation establishment.
- For the purpose of proper check-in upon arrival, the guest presents to the Operator or to the relevant accommodation employee their valid identity card, passport or other valid ID. Subsequently, upon the data entry into the accommodation book, room and main entrance keys are provided. The guest will be assisted to his/her room by the relevant accommodation staff.
- The guest is allowed to use the room for an agreed period of time based on the booking confirmation, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. If the guest asks for an extension of the accommodation, the Operator may offer them a different room than the one in which he/she was originally accommodated, if available.
- The check-out time is at 10:00 am on the last day of their stay, unless otherwise agreed. The room must be vacated and cleaned by 10:00 am and personally returned to the Operator in the same condition in which the guest took it over. If the guest does not leave the room by a specified time of departure, the Operator is entitled to charge the guest a fee for late check-out.
- On the day of arrival, the check-in time is from 2:00 pm, unless otherwise agreed. In case that the guest does not arrive by 8:00 pm or by time agreed in advanced, the reservation shall cease to have effect, without any compensation. The accommodation provider is eligible to offer the room to another guest.
- The accommodation provider bears full responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen guests’ personal items (e.g. jewellery, money and other valuables) only in case that those were accepted and taken into safety deposit box by the Operator, or if their damage/loss was caused by the actions of the Operator itself. The guest shall exercise the right to be compensated on-the-spot, without undue delay, when being notified of the damage/loss of their belongings.
- In the room and in the accommodation area, the guest is not allowed to move the equipment or furniture, nor to make any changes to the electrical network or other installations, without the permission of the accommodation provider.
- In all accommodation premises, especially in the rooms, the use of own electrical appliances is prohibited, due to capacity and operational safety. This does not apply to electrical appliances used for personal hygiene of the guest (e.g. shaving machines, toothbrushes, hairdryers, massage machines), as well as notebook computers and small electronic devices.
- On the guest’s request, the accommodation shall arrange provision of medical attention, or, as the case may be, transport to a hospital. The related costs shall be paid by the guest. The accommodation facilities shall not be used by guests suffering from any communicable disease, held in isolation or ordered quarantine. If a guest is suspected to be suffering from an infectious disease, the accommodation staff must be promptly notified.
- The guest is obliged to switch off the electrical devices, close the water tap, turn off the lights, close the windows and lock the door of the room. If not done so, and thus, the guest causes loss or damage of any kind to the accommodation provider, he/she will be held liable and required to pay an adequate compensation.
- Any produced waste shall be sorted and thrown into recycling bins and containers in places reserved for that purpose. Please keep the premises in good order and never litter (cigarette buts, ashes).
- For safety reasons, it is not appropriate to leave children under 12 years of age without adult supervision in the room and other areas of the accommodation establishment (especially, the lake and the water areas on the premises of the mill).
- The guest is obliged to pay the prices for accommodation and other services provided in compliance with the valid price list upon arrival or the prices confirmed in the e-mail communication, unless otherwise agreed in advance. The accommodation bill shall be settled on the day of arrival; thus, a written proof of payment will be issued.
- Although, the accommodation provider does not offer any meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), the accommodation staff can recommend a restaurant in the surroundings based on the guest’s requirements. Guests may use a common kitchen for preparation of food and a dining room as a place to eat. All common areas used for cooking/dining shall be left clean and tidy for the next guests to come. So that other guests can use them for a meal preparation without any restriction. The accommodation provider is obliged to maintain the common areas and equipment in good order, condition and repair on a regular basis.
- Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in rooms and inner areas of the accommodation facilities. It is also forbidden to handle open fire. Smoking is allowed in a smoking area set outside for the purpose.
- The apartments and rooms are equipped and furnished in accordance with norms and standards for tourist accommodation facilities. Another set of towels, bedlinen, sheets etc., will be provided by the accommodation staff upon request.
- The guest is entitled to lock the entrance door of the accommodation, if entering/leaving the building after 6:00 pm. The guest holds the responsibility for any damage caused during the time when the entrance door remains unlocked. If damage to the room equipment or stealing of the accommodation property is discovered upon the guest’s departure, the Operator is eligible to issue an additional bill and the guest is obliged to settle the payment.
- Dogs and other animals cannot be accommodated in the mill. For safety reasons, animals cannot be accepted on the premises of Buškovský mlýn.
- The heaters in rooms are manually adjustable. You may regulate the temperature inside the room according to your wishes. Should you face any problems you may contact the staff.
- Between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, the guests are obliged to respect the night time quiet hours. Thank you for keeping the night quiet and not disturbing other guests.
- The premises of the mill include a storage for bicycles, scooters, motorbikes etc. („bike storage“). Guests may use the room only upon the previous agreement. Caution and extra care are required when handling their vehicles, in order to prevent damage on other guests’ property. The vehicles shall be always locked when stored. Guests shall keep the cycling accessories and equipment (e.g. helmets, water bottles, knee pads etc.) inside their room. The Operator is not responsible for a damage/loss of the bicycle accessories. In the common storage, guests are not allowed to touch other guests’ vehicles, equipment etc.
- The guest is obliged to observe the provisions of these Accommodation Rules. In the event of violation, the accommodation provider has the right to withdraw from the contract immediately. The legal relationships as well as other issues, that are not explicitly provided for, by these Accommodation Rules are governed by the valid legal regulations of the Czech Republic. We would like to thank you for respecting these rules and wish you a pleasant stay at our mill.

Liability and sanctions
In the event of a breach of any of the guest’s obligations, the accommodation provider is entitled to terminate the accommodation and withdraw from the contract with immediate effect and without any entitlement of the guest to a refund. The guest must in short order leave the mill premises.
Violation of the house rules include:
- Theft, robbery or stealing of any Operator’s property.
- The guest does not regularly respect the night quiet time and disturbs others.
- The guest does not keep the rooms and apartments clean and tidy up to adequate standards; the guest leaves the common areas of the accommodation facility dirty or messy after using them.
- Violating national laws or accommodation regulations; encouraging other guests to breach the obligations; not respecting the rights and legitimate interests of the other guests.
- The guest’s behaviour is in contradiction with the principles of good manners; is profane, lewd, brawling, or otherwise disturbing the peace and comfort of others.
- The guest’s behaviour is insulting or libellous; or injures the facility's reputation, dignity, or standing.
- Slandering, accusing or offending other guests or a third party.
The accommodation provider bears responsibility for damage on the guest’s property in accordance with these Accommodation Rules and with Act No. 89/2012 Coll., as amended – the Civil Code.
- The guest is obliged to secure their belongings in a way that will prevent their damage or loss.
- The guest is obliged to behave in a way that will not cause damage on the property of the accommodation provider, other guests or the housing facilities.
- The Operator aims to ensure safety and security of guests and their belongings. In case any damage or defect to the room equipment occurs, the guest must promptly notify the accommodation staff.
- These terms form an integral part of the accommodation contract signed between the Operator and the guest, hence are binding for all accommodated persons.
Final provisions
- The guest is held liable for damages caused to the property of the accommodation provider in accordance with the Civil Code and other valid legal regulations of the Czech Republic.
- The guest is obligated to follow the provisions of these accommodation rules. In the event of violating these rules, the Operator has the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect.
